Bhartrihari Caves

उज्जैन जिले से लगभग 12 किमी दूर कालियादेह महल के समीप स्थित भर्तृहरि गुफाओं का निर्माण राजा भर्तृहरि की स्मृति में परमार वंश के राजाओं ने 11वीं शताब्दी में करवाया था। इन गुफाओं की कुल संख्या 9 है, जिनमें से वर्तमान में 5 गुफाएं अस्तित्व में हैं। ये गुफाएं रंगीन चित्रों के लिए प्रसिद्ध हैं।

 Located near the Kaliadeh Palace, about 12 km from Ujjain district, the Bhartrihari Caves were built in the 11th century by the Parmar dynasty in memory of King Bhartrihari. There are nine caves in total, of which five are currently extant. These caves are famous for their colorful paintings.
