लोकसभा के अध्यक्ष और उपाध्यक्ष से संबंधित अनुच्छेद 93 से 97 तक Articles 93 to 97 deal with the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Lok Sabha
अनुच्छेद 93:- लोकसभा का अध्यक्ष और उपाध्यक्ष संसद अपने सदस्यों में से ही अध्यक्ष और उपाध्यक्ष को चुनेगी।
Article 93:- Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the House of the People Parliament shall elect the Speaker and Deputy Speaker from amongst its members.
अनुच्देद 94:- लोकसभा के अध्यक्ष/उपाध्यक्ष पद रिक्त होना, इस्तीफा देना हटाना अनुच्छेद 90 में उपसभापति के लिए है वैसा ही व्यवस्था यहां अध्यक्ष/उपाध्यक्ष के लिए होगा।
Article 94:- Vacancy of the post of Speaker/Deputy Speaker of Lok Sabha, resignation and removal, similar provisions will be there for the Speaker/Deputy Speaker as are there for the Deputy Speaker in Article 90.
· यदि लोकसभा के अध्यक्ष/उपाध्यक्ष सदन का सदस्य नहीं रहेगा तो उसका पद स्वत: खाली होगा।If the Speaker/Deputy Speaker of the Lok Sabha ceases to be a member of the House, his post will automatically become vacant.
· लोकसभा के अध्यक्ष/उपाध्यक्ष अपने पद से इस्तीफा दे सकते है। The Speaker/Deputy Speaker of the Lok Sabha can resign from his post.
· यदि लोकसभा के अध्यक्ष/उपाध्यक्ष हटाने के लिए लोकसभा में प्रस्ताव पारित करेगी लेकिन प्रस्ताव लाने से कम से कम 14 दिन पहले सूचना देना आवश्यक है। If the Speaker/Deputy Speaker of the Lok Sabha passes a motion in the Lok Sabha for removal, it is necessary to give notice at least 14 days before bringing the motion.
अनुच्छेद 95- लोकसभा के अध्यक्ष/उपाध्यक्ष की अनुपस्थिति या रिक्त होने पर कर्तव्यों का निर्वहन।
1. यदि लोकसभा अध्यक्ष अनुपस्थित हो या पद रिक्त हो तो उपाध्यक्ष/या अन्य सदस्य उसके कर्तव्य का निर्वहन करेगा।
अनुच्छेद 96- हटाने के प्रस्ताव में अध्यक्ष/उपाध्यक्ष द्वारा अध्यक्षता न करना।
Article 96- Speaker/Deputy Speaker not to preside over the motion for removal.
अगर अध्यक्ष/उपाध्यक्ष को पद से हटाने के लिए कोई प्रस्ताव पारित हो तो अध्यक्ष उस बैठक की अध्यक्षता नहीं कर सकता।
If a resolution is passed to remove the Chairman/Vice Chairman from his/her post, the Chairman cannot preside over that meeting.
उसी तरह यदि Deputy speaker को हटाने का प्रस्ताव हो तो वो भी उस बैठक की अध्यक्षता नहीं कर सकता।
Similarly, if there is a proposal to remove the Deputy Speaker, he also cannot preside over that meeting.
अनुच्छेद 97- सभापति/उपसभापति तथा अध्यक्ष/उपाध्यक्ष की वेतन और भत्ते
Article 97- Salary and allowances of the Chairman/Deputy Chairman and Speaker/Deputy Speaker
संसद के द्वारा निदेर्शित रूप से उनका वेतन और भत्ते निर्धारित होते है। Their salaries and allowances are determined as directed by the Parliament.
