संथाल -जनजाति

यह जनजाति भारत के झारखंड , पश्चिम बंगाल, उडि़सा, और बिहार में निवास करती है भारत के अलावा यह बांग्‍लादेश, और नेपाल में भी पाई जाती है  

This tribe resides in Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha, and Bihar of India. Apart from India, it is also found in Bangladesh and Nepal.

य‍ह एक प्रमुख मुंडा भाषायी जनजाति है भारत में यह मुख्‍य रूप से झारखंड के छोटा नागपुर पठार में पाई जाती है

 This is a major Munda language tribe. In India, it is mainly found in the Chhota Nagpur plateau of Jharkhand.

संथाल समाज पित्रसत्‍ताक में जिसे किल्‍ली भी कहा जाता है परिवार होता है। संथाल आमतौर पर कृषि करते है इनकी मुख्‍य कृषि धान की खेती होती है

 In Santhal society, there is a patriarchal family which is also called Killi. Santhals usually do agriculture, their main crop is paddy cultivation.

संथाल जनजाति द्वारा बोले जाने वाली भाषा मुंडा ऑस्‍ट्रो, एसियाटिक, भाषा है इस भाषा को भारत की आधिकारिक भाषाओं में मान्‍यता प्राप्‍त है  

The language spoken by the Santhal tribe is Munda Austro-Asiatic language. This language is recognized as one of the official languages ​​of India.

संथाल जनजाति का प्रमुख त्‍यौहार सोहराई त्‍यौहार है संथाल जनजाति के महान लोकनायक विरसा मुंडा थे।  

The main festival of the Santhal tribe is Sohrai festival. The great folk leader of the Santhal tribe was Virsa Munda.
