अनुच्छेद 208 – राज्य विधानमंडल के लिए नियम बनाने का अधिकार Article 208 – Power of State Legislature to make rules

राज्य का विधानमंडल अपने सदनों में कार्यवाही को संचालित करने के लिए स्वयं नियम बना सकता है।

The State Legislature may make its own rules for the conduct of proceedings in its Houses.

उद्देश्य यह है कि सदन की कार्यवाही सुसंगठित, अनुशासित और व्यवस्थित तरीके से हो। विधानमंडल नियमों के अनुसार अपने आप को चला सकता है जब तक कि कोई विशेष कानून उसे बदल न दे।

The purpose is to ensure that the proceedings of the House are organized, disciplined, and orderly. The legislature can conduct itself according to the rules unless a special law alters them.

यह अनुच्छेद विधानमंडल की स्वतंत्रता और आंतरिक स्वायत्तता सुनिश्चित करता है।
