पृथ्‍वी का मानचित्र बनाने वाले व्‍यक्ति का श्रेय यूनानी दार्शनिक ‘’एनेक्‍सीमेंडर’’ को दिया जाता है।

The first person to make a map of the Earth - The credit of making the map of the Earth is given to the Greek philosopher "Anaximander". In the sixth century BC, he made the only picture of the world known at that time. In which the Earth was considered to be of a cylindrical shape. He was from Greece.

पृथ्‍वी  का मानचित्र बनाने वाला प्रथम व्‍यक्ति- पृथ्‍वी का मानचित्र बनाने वाले व्‍यक्ति का श्रेय यूनानी दार्शनिक ‘’एनेक्‍सीमेंडर’’ को दिया जाता है। उन्‍होंने छठी  शताब्‍दी ईसापूर्व में, उस समय ज्ञात दुनिया का एकमात्र चित्र बनाया था। जिसमें पृथ्‍वी को एक बेलनाकार आकार का माना गया था। यह यूनान (ग्रीस) के थे।
