Dharwad Rock
धारवाड़ क्रम की चट्टानों का निर्माण आर्कियन नीस और शिस्ट शैलों के अनाच्छादन और अपरदन से प्राप्त अवसादों के निक्षेप से हुआ है।
The rocks of the Dharwad series are formed by the deposition of sediments derived from the denudation and erosion of Archean gneiss and schist rocks.
सर्वप्रथम इन चट्टानों की खोज कर्नाटक के धारवाड़ जिले में की गई थी। ब्रुसफूट द्वारा इन चट्टानों का नाम धारवाड़ रखा गया है।
These rocks were first discovered in the Dharwar district of Karnataka. They were named Dharwar by Brucefoot.
धारवाड़ क्रम की चट्टानों में स्लेट, शिस्ट, नीस, ग्रेनाइट, फाइलाइट एवं क्वार्ट्जाइट आदि खनिजों की प्रधानता होती है।
The rocks of Dharwad series are dominated by minerals like slate, schist, gneiss, granite, phyllite and quartzite.
ये चट्टानें जीवाश्म रहित होती हैं, परन्तु इनका आर्थिक महत्व अधिक होता है, क्योंकि इसमें कोबाल्ट, मैंगनीज, अभ्रक, क्रोमियम आदि के निक्षेप पाए जाते हैं।
These rocks are fossil-free, but they have great economic importance because deposits of cobalt, manganese, mica, chromium etc. are found in them.

चिल्पी क्रम की चट्टानों का विस्तार मध्य प्रदेश के बालाघाट जबलपुर तथा छिंदवाड़ा जिलों में पाया जाता है। इन चट्टानों में फाइलाइट, क्वार्ट्जाइट, ग्रीन स्टोन तथा मैंगनीज आदि के निक्षेप पाये जाते हैं।
The Chilpi series of rocks are found in the Balaghat, Jabalpur, and Chhindwara districts of Madhya Pradesh. These rocks contain deposits of phyllite, quartzite, greenstone, and manganese.
क्लोजपेट क्रम

इन चट्टानों का विस्तार मध्य प्रदेश के बालाघाट तथा छिंदवाड़ा जिलों में पाया जाता है।
These rocks are found in Balaghat and Chhindwara districts of Madhya Pradesh.
क्लोजपेट क्रम की चट्टानों में कार्ट्जाइट मैंगनीज तथा कॉपर के पायराइट पाये जाते हैं।
Cartzite, manganese and copper pyrites are found in the rocks of the Closepet series.
बालाघाट जिले में स्थित मलाजखण्ड में ताँबे के वृहद भण्डार पाये जाते हैं।
Large reserves of copper are found in Malajkhand located in Balaghat district.
सकोली क्रम
Sakoli sequence
सकोली क्रम की चट्टानों का विस्तार राज्य के जबलपुर जिले में पाया जाता है।
The Sakoli series of rocks is found in Jabalpur district of the state.
इसमें अभ्रक, शिस्ट, डोलोमाइट तथा संगमरमर आदि के निक्षेप पाये जाते हैं। यहाँ से सर्वोच्च गुणवत्ता का संगमरमर प्राप्त है।
It contains deposits of mica, schist, dolomite, and marble, etc. Marble of the highest quality is obtained here.
सौसर क्रम
Saussure sequence
इसका विस्तार महाराष्ट्र के नागपुर से मध्य प्रदेश के छिंदवाड़ा जिले तक एक पट्टी के रूप में पाया जाता है।
It is found in the form of a strip extending from Nagpur in Maharashtra to Chhindwara district of Madhya Pradesh.
इसमें अभ्रक, शिस्ट, संगमरमर, क्वार्ट्जाइट तथा मैंगनीज की अधिकता पायी जाती है।
Mica, schist, marble, quartzite and manganese are found in abundance in it.
धारवाड़ चट्टानें मध्य प्रदेश में बालाघाट, छिंदवाड़ा और जबलपुर जिलों में पाई जाती हैं।

In Madhya Pradesh, the Dharwar Rocks are found primarily along the Narmada River, particularly in the Jabalpur region, where the Narmada has carved caves into the marble cliffs. Furthermore, the Dharwar Rocks are also found in the Balaghat and Chhindwara districts, through which the Narmada River flows.
मध्य प्रदेश में धारवाड़ चट्टानें मुख्य रूप से सौसर श्रेणी, चिल्पी श्रेणी, और बिजावर श्रेणी के रूप में पाई जाती हैं, जो क्रमशः छिंदवाड़ा, बालाघाट और पन्ना जैसे जिलों में स्थित हैं। धारवाड़ चट्टानों से कई पर्वत श्रृंखलाएँ और पहाड़ियाँ बनी हैं, जिनमें बालाघाट और छिंदवाड़ा में फैली क्लोजपेट श्रृंखला और जबलपुर में स्थित साकोली श्रृंखला शामिल हैं।
In Madhya Pradesh, the Dharwar rocks are found primarily in the Sausar Range, Chilpi Range, and Bijawar Range, located in the districts of Chhindwara, Balaghat, and Panna, respectively. Several mountain ranges and hills are formed from the Dharwar rocks, including the Closepet Range, spread across Balaghat and Chhindwara, and the Sakoli Range, located in Jabalpur.
मध्य प्रदेश की धारवाड़ चट्टानों में मुख्य रूप से मैंगनीज, डोलोमाइट (चूना पत्थर), स्लेट, फाइलाइट, क्वार्टजाइट और अभ्रक जैसे खनिज पाए जाते हैं। इन खनिजों में मैंगनीज और डोलोमाइट विशेष रूप से महत्वपूर्ण हैं।
The Dharwar rocks of Madhya Pradesh are primarily composed of minerals such as manganese, dolomite (limestone), slate, phyllite, quartzite, and mica. Of these minerals, manganese and dolomite are particularly important.
