"Gaon Ki Beti Yojana"

शिक्षित म.प्र. ही विकसित म.प्र. बनेगा, के ध्येय वाक्य को में रखते हुए मध्यप्रदेश सरकार द्वारा 29 अगस्त, 2005 को प्रदेश की य बालिकाओं का उच्च शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में स्तर बढ़ाने के उद्देश्य से "गाँव की बेटी योजना" प्रदेश के समस्त ग्रामीण क्षेत्र में लागू की गयी। जिसके तहत गाँव की एक मेधावी छात्रा को जिसने 12वीं कक्षा की परीक्षा प्रथम उत्तीर्ण की हो, निःशुल्क उच्च शिक्षा तथा छात्रा को प्रतिमाह 500 रुपये से 10 माह के लिए 5000 रुपये की सालाना आर्थिक मदद दी जाती है

Adhering to the motto "An Educated Madhya Pradesh Alone Will Become a Developed Madhya Pradesh," the Government of Madhya Pradesh launched the "Gaon Ki Beti Yojana" (Village Daughter Scheme) across all rural areas of the state on August 29, 2005, with the objective of enhancing the status of the state's young women in the field of higher education. Under this scheme, a meritorious female student from a village—who has passed her Class 12 examination with a First Division—is provided with free higher education, along with an annual financial assistance of ₹5,000 (disbursed as a monthly stipend of ₹500 over a period of 10 months).
