Kewai River

-केवई नदी का उद्गम छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य के कोरिया जिले के महेन्द्रगढ़ विकासखण्ड के ग्राम बैरागी के पहाड़ी क्षेत्र से होता है। यह अपने उद्गम स्थल से म.प्र. की ओर बहती हुई म.प्र. के अनूपपुर जिले से भी गुजरती है। केवई नदी सोन नदी में आकर मिलती है। वर्तमान में छत्तीसगढ़ सरकार केवई को हंसदो नदी से जोड़ने के लिए प्रयासरत है तथा रेत खनन भी इस नदी की बड़ी समस्या है।

The Kewai River originates in the hilly region of Bairagi village in the Mahendragarh development block of Koriya district in Chhattisgarh state. From its source, it flows towards Madhya Pradesh, passing through Anuppur district before joining the Son River. Currently, the Chhattisgarh government is working on connecting the Kewai River to the Hasdeo River, and sand mining is also a major problem affecting this river.
