"Krishi Shakti Yojana"

प्रदेश में कृषि यंत्रीकरण की गतिविधियों को समग्र रूप से विस्तारित करने के उद्देश्य से कृषि यंत्रीकरण प्रोत्साहन कार्यक्रम "कृषि शक्ति योजना" प्ररांभ की गई है। जिसके यंत्रीकृत कृषि के लाभ से कृषकों को अवगत कराने के उद्देश्य से यंत्रदूत ग्रामों का विकास किया जाता है। ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में कृषि यंत्रों के निर्माण को प्रोत्साहित करने के उद्देश्य से वर्कशॉप हेतु मशीनों की लागत का 50 प्रतिशत अधिकतम एक लाख रूपये तक का अनुदान दिया जाता है। प्रदेश में पावर टिलर के उपयोग को प्रोत्साहित करने के उद्देश्य से मेक्रो-मेनेजमेन्ट योजना में उपलब्ध अनुदान के अतिरिक्त राज्य शासन की ओर से 25 प्रतिशत अधिकतम रु. 30000 तक का अनुदान भी योजनान्तर्गत दिया जाता है। बुवाई, निंदाई-गुड़ाई, सिंचाई, कीट-आदि नियंत्रण, कटाई, गहाई आदि के लिये प्रयुक्त होने वाली नवीन तकनीकों के कृषि यंत्रों/उपकरणों का प्रदर्शन खेतों में किया जाता है। इसके माध्यम से कृषक खेती की लागत क्रय करके उत्पादन में वृध्दि प्राप्त कर रहे हैं तथा कृषकों का रूझान यंत्रीकृत कृषि की ओर बढ़ा है।

With the objective of comprehensively expanding agricultural mechanization activities in Uttar Pradesh, the "Krishi Shakti Yojana" (Agricultural Power Scheme) has been launched. Under this scheme, "Yantradoot Villages" (Mechanization Demonstration Villages) are developed to educate farmers about the benefits of mechanized farming. To encourage the manufacturing of agricultural machinery in rural areas, a subsidy of 50% of the cost of machinery for workshops, up to a maximum of one lakh rupees, is provided. To promote the use of power tillers in the state, an additional subsidy of 25%, up to a maximum of Rs. 30,000, is provided by the state government under this scheme, in addition to the subsidy available under the Macro-Management Scheme. Demonstrations of new agricultural machinery and equipment used for sowing, weeding, irrigation, pest control, harvesting, threshing, etc., are conducted in the fields. Through this, farmers are reducing their cultivation costs, increasing production, and showing a greater inclination towards mechanized farming.
