"Papers Relating to the Aboriginal Tribes of the Central Provinces,"

"Papers Relating to the Aboriginal Tribes of the Central Provinces," written by Scottish missionary Stephen Hislop and edited by Sir Richard Temple, was originally published in 1866.  It includes detailed descriptions of their languages, customs, and history, and features accounts of tribes such as the Gond, Madia, and Kolam.
