कवि पद्माकर - कवि पद्माकर का जन्‍म मध्‍यप्रदेश के सागर जिले में 1753 ई. में हुआ था। इन्‍हें रीतिकाल का अंतिम सर्वश्रेष्‍ठ प्रतिनिधि कवि माना जाता है। इनकी कविताओं में ब्रजभाषा का शुद्ध रूप देखने को मिलता है पद्माकर को जैनपुरा, सुगरा शासक, उदयपुर के प्रतापसिंह एवं ग्‍वालियर के दौलतराव सिंधिया जी का संरक्षण प्राप्‍त था।

Poet Padmakar - Poet Padmakar was born in 1753 AD in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh. He is considered the last and greatest representative poet of the Ritikal (Bhakti period) of Hindi literature. His poems showcase the pure form of Braj Bhasha. Padmakar received patronage from the rulers of Jainpura, Sugra, Pratap Singh of Udaipur, and Daulat Rao Scindia of Gwalior.
