खेलों के क्षेत्र में उत्कृष्टता हासिल करने तथा प्रदेश के प्रतिभाशाली खिलाडि़यों को सुविधाएं उपलब्ध कराने के उद्देशय से मध्यप्रदेश सरकार के खेल और युवा कल्याण विभाग द्वारा वर्ष 2006 में उत्कृष्ट खेल अकादमियों की परिकल्पना की गयी।
With the objective of achieving excellence in the field of sports and providing facilities to talented players of the state, the Department of Sports and Youth Welfare of the Government of Madhya Pradesh conceptualized the establishment of excellent sports academies in the year 2006.
प्रदेश के सभी खिलाडि़यों के लिए विश्वस्तरीय प्रशिक्षण, अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मापदंडों वाली खेल अधोसंरचना, अंतर्राष्ट्रीय ख्याति प्राप्त प्रशिक्षक तथा मेंटर की सुविधाएं उपलब्ध कराने के लिए प्रदेश में अनेक खेल अकादमियों की स्थापना की गयी है।
To provide world-class training, sports infrastructure of international standards, and facilities such as internationally renowned coaches and mentors to all the players in the state, several sports academies have been established in the state.
