सम्मेलन में मुस्लिम लीग ने पृथक् निर्वाचन मंडल की मांग रखी। इसी तरह अंबेडकर ने दलित वर्गों के लिये पृथक् निर्वाचन मंडल की मांग की, लेकिन उपस्थित प्रतिनिधियों में एकता का अभाव था। सम्मेलन के निष्कर्षों में ब्रिटिश सरकार अखिल भारतीय संघ का निर्माण, प्रदेशों में पूर्ण उत्तरदायी शासन तथा केंद्र में द्वैध शासन पर सहमत हुई।

At the conference, the Muslim League demanded separate electorates. Similarly, Ambedkar demanded separate electorates for the Dalit communities, but there was a lack of unity among the attending representatives. In the conference's conclusions, the British government agreed to the formation of an All-India Federation, full responsible government in the provinces, and dyarchy at the center.
