आकस्मिक निधि:-

आकस्मिक निधि:- इसका संविधान के अनुच्‍छेद में प्रावधान किया गया है जिसके अंतर्गत किसी आकस्मिक व्‍यय को पूरा करने के लिए एक ऐसी राशि का निर्धारण किया जाता है जो राष्‍ट्रपति वंचित समझें। (राज्‍यों के संबंध में राज्‍यपाल उचित समझे)

 Contingency Fund: This is provided for in Article 1 of the Constitution, under which a sum of money is earmarked to meet any contingency expenditure that the President deems necessary (in the case of states, the Governor may deem appropriate).

आकस्मिक निधि की राशि का प्रयोग एक निश्चित अवधि में ही किया जाता है राष्‍ट्रपति इसका उपयोग प्रधानमंत्री की सलाह से करता है किन्‍तु बाद में इसे संसद से स्‍वीकृति लेनी होती है।

The amount of contingency fund is used only within a fixed period. The President uses it on the advice of the Prime Minister but later it has to be approved by the Parliament.

नोट:- अनु. 266 व 267 केन्‍द्र के साथ-साथ राज्‍यों के लिए भी इन तीनों निधियों का प्रावधान करता है।

Note: Articles 266 and 267 provide for these three funds for the Centre as well as the States.
