एयर इंडिया भारत की राष्ट्रीय विमान सेवा कंपनी है जो भारतीय विमान सेवा निगम (इंडियन एयर लाइंस कॉपोरेशन) है।

स्थापना - 15 अक्टूबर 1932 को टाटा एयरलाइंस के रूप में हुई थी। इसे टाटा ग्रुप द्वारा स्थापित किया गया था

नाम परिवर्तन : टाटा एयरलाइंस का 1946 में इसका नाम एयर इंडिया रखा गया।

निजीकरण: 2021 में भारतीय सरकार ने एयर इंडिया का 100 प्रतिशत स्वामित्व वाला टाटा ग्रुप को पुन: सौंप दिया।
Privatisation: In 2021, the Indian Government returned 100% ownership of Air India to the Tata Group.
राष्ट्रीयकरण- 1953 में भारत सरकार ने इसे राष्ट्रीय एयरलाइन घोषित किया और इसका नाम एयर इंडिया कर दिया गया।
Nationalisation- In 1953 the Government of India declared it as the national airline and it was named Air India.
