Atacama Desert - It is located in South America and is the driest desert in the world. The Atacama Desert is located in northern Chile, stretching for about 1000 km along the Pacific coast. It is surrounded by the Andes mountain ranges in the east and Chile in the west, covering an area of about 105,000 square kilometers (41,000 sq mi).
