बेतवा नदी का उदगम स्थल रायसेन के कुमरा गाँव

बेतवा नदी का उदगम स्थल रायसेन के कुमरा गाँव नामक होता है। इसकी कुल लंबाई 480 किलोमीटर है। इस नदी पर माता ही का निर्माण किया गया है। इसकी सहायक नदियों में बीना तथा धसान है। बेतवा नदी को म.प्र. की गंगा (प्रदूषण स्तर के कारण) कहा जाता नदी पर सांची एवं विदिशा नगर स्थित है। जबकि नर्मदा नदी की त (41) सहायक नदी तवा, हेरन, वारना और शक्कर प्रमुख है। चंबल न सहायक नदियाँ क्षिप्रा, कालीसिंध, पार्वती, बनास मुख्य हैं। ताप्ती क सहायक नदी पूरणा है।

The Betwa River originates in Kumra village in Raisen district. Its total length is 480 kilometers. The Matatila Dam has been constructed on this river. Its tributaries include the Bina and Dhasan rivers. The Betwa River is called the "Ganges of Madhya Pradesh" (due to its pollution level). The cities of Sanchi and Vidisha are located on this river. The Narmada River has 41 tributaries, with Tawa, Heran, Warna, and Shakkar being the major ones. The main tributaries of the Chambal River are Kshipra, Kalisindh, Parvati, and Banas. The Purna River is a tributary of the Tapi River.
