 प्रदेश में ग्रामीण स्‍तर पर खेलों को बढ़ावा देने और प्रोत्‍साहित करने के लिए, जन-प्रतिनिधियों के सहयोग से, विभाग ने 5 जनवरी, 2017 को विधायक कप का शुभारम्‍भ किया था। इस वर्ष कबड्डी, खो-खो, कुश्‍ती, बॉक्सिंग, हॉकी जूडो, बॉलीबॉल फुटबॉल टेबल टेनिस और बास्‍केटबॉल में से एक का आयोजन, पुरूष और महिला खिलाडि़यों के लिए किया गया। 

To promote and encourage sports at the rural level in the state, the department, with the cooperation of elected representatives, launched the MLA Cup on January 5, 2017. This year, one of the following sports was organized for both male and female players: कबड्डी (Kabaddi), खो-खो (Kho-Kho), कुश्ती (Wrestling), बॉक्सिंग (Boxing), हॉकी (Hockey), जूडो (Judo), वॉलीबॉल (Volleyball), फुटबॉल (Football), टेबल टेनिस (Table Tennis), and बास्केटबॉल (Basketball).
