हॉकी विश्‍व कप - इस प्रतियोगियता की शुरूआत 1971 में हुई थी हॉकी विश्‍व कप की कल्‍पना सबसे पहले पाकिस्‍तान के एयर मार्शल नूर खांन ने की थी इनके विचार को 26 अक्‍टूबर 1969 को 12 अप्रैल 1970 को ब्रसेल्‍स में एक बैठक में एफआईएच द्वारा मंजूरी दे दी गयी। शुरूआत में यह टूर्नामेंट दो वर्षों के अंतराल के बाद आयोजित किया जाता था। परन्‍तु 1975 के बाद यह हर 4 वर्ष में आयोजित किया जाता है  

Hockey World Cup - This competition started in 1971. The idea of ​​the Hockey World Cup was first conceived by Air Marshal Noor Khan of Pakistan. His idea was approved by the FIH (International Hockey Federation) at a meeting in Brussels on October 26, 1969, and April 12, 1970. Initially, this tournament was held every two years. However, since 1975, it has been held every four years.

हॉकी विश्व कप (पुरुष) की शुरुआत 1971 में हुई, जिसे पाकिस्तान ने जीता; तब से यह हर चार साल में होता है, जिसमें पाकिस्तान (4 बार नीदरलैंड (3 बार), ऑस्ट्रेलिया (3) बार), जर्मनी (2 बार) और भारत (1 बार) प्रमुख विजेता हैं, जबकि भारत ने 1975 में अपना एकमात्र खिताब जीता और 2023 संस्करण की मेजबानी की, जिसे जर्मनी ने जीता।  

The Hockey World Cup (men's) began in 1971, which was won by Pakistan; since then, it has been held every four years, with Pakistan (4 times), the Netherlands (3 times), Australia (3 times), Germany (2 times), and India (1 time) being the major winners. India won its only title in 1975 and hosted the 2023 edition, which was won by Germany.

हॉकी विश्‍व कप के किसी एक संस्‍करण में सबसे ज्‍यादा गोल करने का रिकॉर्ड नीदरलैंड के पॉल लिटजेंस के नाम है जिन्‍होंने 1978 के विश्‍व कप में 15 गोल किए थे  

The record for the most goals scored in a single edition of the Hockey World Cup belongs to Paul Litjens of the Netherlands, who scored 15 goals in the 1978 World Cup.

हॉकी विश्‍व कप में भारत की ओर से किसी एक संस्‍करण में सबसे ज्‍यादा गोल करने का रिकॉर्ड राजेंद्र सिंह के नाम है जिन्‍होंने 1982 के विश्‍व कप में 15 गोल किए थे।  

The record for the most goals scored by an Indian player in a single edition of the Hockey World Cup belongs to Rajinder Singh, who scored 15 goals in the 1982 World Cup.

वर्तमान खिलाडि़यों में हरमनप्रीत सिंह भारत के लिए सबसे ज्‍यादा गोल करने वाले सक्रिय खिलाड़ी है लगभग 126 गोल किए।

Among current players, Harmanpreet Singh is the highest goalscorer for India, with approximately 126 goals.

हॉकी विश्‍व कप 1971 :- ये टूर्नामेंट का पहला संस्‍करण था जो बार्सिलोना , स्‍पेन में आयोजित किया गया इस टूर्नामेंट को पाकिस्‍तान ने जीता कुल 10 टीमो ने हिस्‍सा लिया भारत ने इस टूर्नामेंट में कांस्‍य पदक जीता इस टूर्नामेंट का उप विजेता स्‍पेन रहा सर्वाधिक गोल पाकिस्‍तान के तनवीर डार ने किए

यह विश्‍व कप नीदरलैंड के एम्‍स्‍टर्डम में आयोजित किया गया इस टूर्नामेंट को नीदरलैंड ने जीता कुल 12 टीमों ने हिस्‍सा लिया भारत उपविजेता रहा तथा तीसरे स्‍थान पर पश्चिम जर्मनी रहा जिसने कांस्‍य पदक जीता सर्वश्रेष्‍ठ खिलाड़ी का खिताब सुलजीत सिंह (भारत) ने जीता सर्वाधिक गोल टाइस क्रूज (नीदरलैंड) ने किए

This World Cup was held in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The tournament was won by the Netherlands. A total of 12 teams participated. India was the runner-up, and West Germany finished in third place, winning the bronze medal. The best player award was won by Surjit Singh (India), and the top scorer was Ties Kruize (Netherlands).

हॉकी विश्‍व कप 1975 मलेशिया में आयोजित किया गया भारत ने पाकिस्‍तान को हराकर यह खिताब जीता यह भारत का एक मात्र हॉकी विश्‍व कप का खिताब है इस विश्‍व कप को भारत ने अशोककुमार के गोल से हासिल किया कुल 12 टीमों ने हिस्‍सा लिया ।

The 1975 Hockey World Cup was held in Malaysia. India won the title by defeating Pakistan. This is India's only Hockey World Cup title. India secured this World Cup victory with a goal scored by Ashok Kumar. A total of 12 teams participated in the tournament.

1978 यह विश्‍व अर्जेंटीना में आयोजित किया गया पाकिस्‍तान में यह टूर्नामेंट नीदरलैंड को हराकर जीता भारत 6वें स्‍थान पर रहा इस टूर्नामेंट का प्रतीक चिन्ह हाथी था जो (एशियाई देशों का प्रतीक ) के प्रभुत्‍व को दर्शाता है।  

The 1978 World Cup was held in Argentina. Pakistan won the tournament, defeating the Netherlands. India finished in 6th place. The symbol of this tournament was an elephant, which represented the dominance of Asian countries.

1982 का हॉकी विश्व कप मुंबई, भारत में हुआ था, जिसमें पाकिस्तान ने फाइनल में पश्चिम जर्मनी को 3-1 से हराकर तीसरी बार खिताब जीता, पूरे टूर्नामेंट में अजेय रहते हुए। इस टूर्नामेंट में 12 टीमों ने हिस्सा लिया था, और पाकिस्तान ने न्यूजीलैंड के खिलाफ 12-3 की बड़ी जीत सहित कई रिकॉर्ड बनाए, जिसमें एक मैच में सर्वाधिक गोल (15) का रिकॉर्ड भी शामिल था, और इस तरह वह लगातार दो विश्व कप जीतने वाला पहला देश बन गया।

The 1982 Hockey World Cup was held in Mumbai, India, where Pakistan won the title for the third time, defeating West Germany 3-1 in the final and remaining undefeated throughout the tournament. Twelve teams participated in the tournament, and Pakistan set several records, including a massive 12-3 victory against New Zealand and the record for the most goals scored in a single match (15), thus becoming the first country to win two consecutive World Cups.

The 1986 Hockey World Cup was held in London, England, where Australia won their first title, defeating hosts England 2-1 in the final. This tournament was the first to be played on Astroturf, and saw poor performances from both India and Pakistan, while Muhammad Shahid and Ric Charlesworth were the top scorers. Australia had defeated the Soviet Union in the semi-finals, and England had beaten West Germany to reach the final, where they ultimately lost 1-2.

The 1990 Hockey World Cup (held in Pakistan) was won by the Netherlands, who defeated hosts Pakistan 3-1 in the final. This was the Netherlands' second World Cup title; Australia finished third and West Germany fourth, with Pakistan's Shahbaz Ahmed being named Player of the Tournament.

In the 1994 Hockey World Cup (men's) held in Australia, Pakistan defeated the Netherlands in a penalty shootout to win the title, a historic achievement, especially as the tournament was held in Sydney and host Australia finished in third place. 2002 का हॉकी विश्व कप मलेशिया के कुआलालंपुर में 24 फरवरी से 9 मार्च तक हुआ था, जिसमें जर्मनी ने फाइनल में ऑस्ट्रेलिया को 2-1 से हराकर अपना पहला खिताब जीता, नीदरलैंड ने दक्षिण कोरिया को हराकर तीसरा स्थान हासिल किया, और यह टूर्नामेंट 16 टीमों के साथ पहली बार खेला गया था, जिसमें गर्म मौसम के कारण खिलाड़ियों की संख्या 16 से बढ़ाकर 18 की गई थी।

The 2002 Hockey World Cup was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from February 24 to March 9, with Germany winning their first title by defeating Australia 2-1 in the final. The Netherlands secured third place by beating South Korea, and this tournament was the first to feature 16 teams, with the squad size increased from 16 to 18 players due to the hot weather conditions.

2006 का हॉकी विश्व कप (पुरुष) जर्मनी के मोंचेंग्लाडबाक में 6-17 सितंबर 2006 को आयोजित हुआ था, जिसे मेजबान जर्मनी ने फाइनल में ऑस्ट्रेलिया को 4-3 से हराकर लगातार दूसरी बार जीता; यह जर्मनी का दूसरा विश्व कप खिताब था और स्पेन ने तीसरा स्थान हासिल किया था, जिसमें जर्मनी ने शानदार वापसी करते हुए जीत दर्ज की थी।

The 2006 Men's Hockey World Cup was held in Mönchengladbach, Germany, from September 6 to 17, 2006.  Host nation Germany won the tournament for the second consecutive time, defeating Australia 4-3 in the final. This was Germany's second World Cup title, and Spain finished in third place. Germany secured the victory with a remarkable comeback in the final.

2010 हॉकी विश्व कप भारत के नई दिल्ली में आयोजित हुआ था, जिसे ऑस्ट्रेलिया ने 24 साल बाद जीता; उन्होंने फाइनल में जर्मनी को 2-1 से हराया, यह उनका दूसरा खिताब था, जबकि नीदरलैंड्स ने तीसरा स्थान हासिल किया, और मेजबान भारत आठवें स्थान पर रहा।

The 2010 Hockey World Cup was held in New Delhi, India, and was won by Australia after 24 years; they defeated Germany 2-1 in the final, securing their second title, while the Netherlands finished in third place, and hosts India finished in eighth place.

2014 हॉकी विश्व कप नीदरलैंड के हेग में आयोजित हुआ, जहाँ पुरुष वर्ग में ऑस्ट्रेलिया ने नीदरलैंड को फाइनल में 6-1 से हराकर तीसरी बार खिताब जीता और अपना विश्व कप खिताब बरकरार रखा, जबकि महिला विश्व कप में नीदरलैंड ने ऑस्ट्रेलिया को 2-0 से हराकर सातवीं बार विश्व चैंपियन बनी। यह टूर्नामेंट 31 मई से 15 जून 2014 तक हुआ, जिसमें ऑस्ट्रेलिया की पुरुष टीम ने लगातार अच्छा प्रदर्शन किया और फाइनल में मेजबान नीदरलैंड को भारी अंतर से हराया, वहीं महिला टीम ने भी अपने देश में खिताब अपने नाम किया।

The 2014 Hockey World Cup was held in The Hague, Netherlands, where in the men's tournament, Australia defeated the Netherlands 6-1 in the final to win their third title and retain their World Cup crown. In the women's tournament, the Netherlands defeated Australia 2-0 to become world champions for the seventh time. The tournament took place from May 31 to June 15, 2014, with the Australian men's team performing consistently well and defeating the host nation, the Netherlands, by a large margin in the final, while the Dutch women's team also claimed the title on home soil.

2018 हॉकी विश्व कप भारत के भुवनेश्वर में हुआ, जिसे बेल्जियम ने नीदरलैंड को पेनल्टी शूटआउट में हराकर पहली बार जीता, जबकि भारत ने अपने ग्रुप मैच में बेल्जियम के साथ 2-2 से ड्रॉ खेला था और कार्टर फाइनल में बेल्जियम से हार गया था.

The 2018 Hockey World Cup was held in Bhubaneswar, India, and was won for the first time by Belgium, who defeated the Netherlands in a penalty shootout. India had drawn 2-2 with Belgium in their group stage match and were later defeated by Belgium in the quarter-finals.

2023 (भारत): जर्मनी यह टूर्नामेंट भारत के भुवनेश्‍वर में आयोजित किया गया था इस टूर्नामेंट को जर्मनी ने बेल्जियम को हराकर जीता भारत का इस टूर्नामेंट में 9वां स्‍थान रहा । सबसे ज्‍यादा गोल जेरेमी हेवर्ड (ऑस्‍ट्रेलिया) ने किए, जिन्‍होंने कुल 9 गोल दागे, जबकि जर्मनी ने टूर्नामेंट का खिताब जीता था और व्‍यक्‍तगत पुरस्‍कारों में भी आगे रहा.. जर्मनी ने बेल्जियम को पेनल्‍टी शूटआउट में हराकर यह विश्‍व कप जीता । इस विश्‍व कप में कुल 16 टीमों ने हिस्‍सा लिया ।

2023 (India): This tournament was held in Bhubaneswar, India. Germany won the tournament, defeating Belgium in the final. India finished in 9th place. Jeremy Hayward (Australia) was the top scorer with a total of 9 goals. Germany won the tournament title and also dominated the individual awards. Germany won the World Cup by defeating Belgium in a penalty shootout. A total of 16 teams participated in this World Cup.

FIH हॉकी प्रो-लीग एक अंतरराष्ट्रीय (फील्ड हॉकी) लीग प्रतियोगिता है जिसे FIH (Fédération Internationale de Hockey) द्वारा आयोजित किया जाता है।

The FIH Hockey Pro League is an international field hockey league competition organized by the FIH (Fédération Internationale de Hockey).

इस लीग में विश्व की शीर्ष राष्ट्रीय टीमें भाग लेती हैं। सीज़न आम तौर पर दिसंबर से जून तक चलता है, जिसमें सभी टीमें आपस में घर और बाहर मैच खेलती हैं।

This league features the world's top national teams. The season typically runs from December to June, with all teams playing each other in home and away matches.

टीमों को हर मैच के आधार पर अंक मिलते हैं, और सबसे अधिक अंकों वाली टीम सीज़न की चैंपियन बनती है।

Teams earn points based on each match, and the team with the most points becomes the season's champion.

In the 2019 edition, each team played 14 league matches, with the top four teams advancing to the semi-finals. The winner was determined by the final match.

The Netherlands won the inaugural Women's FIH Pro League by defeating Australia in a penalty shootout in the final.

फाइनल में बेल्जियम को 3-2 से हराकर ऑस्ट्रेलिया ने पहली मेंस FIH प्रो लीग जीती थी।

Australia won the inaugural Men's FIH Pro League by defeating Belgium 3-2 in the final.

2020-21 सीजन की शुरुआत से FIH प्रो लीग राउंड-रॉबिन प्रारूप खेला जाता है। चाहें घरेलू मैदान हो या बाहर इस प्रारूप के अनुसार, प्रत्येक टीम दूसरी टीम से दो बार खेलती है। इसके बाद 16 लीग मैचों के बाद सबसे अधिक अंक वाली टीम को चैंपियन घोषित किया जाता है।

Since the start of the 2020-21 season, the FIH Pro League has been played in a round-robin format. In this format, each team plays every other team twice, both at home and away. After 16 league matches, the team with the most points is declared the champion.

कोविड-19 महामारी के कारण 2020-21 सीजन में कई मैच रद्द कर दिए गए थे। वहीं, विजेता टीम का निर्धारण करने के लिए प्वॉइंट परसेनटेंज सिस्टम का इस्तेमाल किया गया था।

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, several matches were canceled during the 2020-21 season. A points percentage system was used to determine the winning team.

FIH प्रो लीग में एक टीम को जीत के लिए तीन अंक और ड्रॉ के लिए एक अंक से सम्मानित किया जाता है। ड्रॉ में समाप्त होने वाला कोई भी मैच पेनल्टी शूट-आउट में चला जाता है। इसमें पेनल्टी शूट-आउट के विजेताओं को बोनस अंक दिया जाता है।

In the FIH Pro League, a team is awarded three points for a win and one point for a draw. Any match that ends in a draw goes to a penalty shootout. The winners of the penalty shootout receive a bonus point.

एक टीम के प्वॉइंट परसेनटेंज की गणना उनके टोटल अंकों को मौजूदा कुल अंकों से विभाजित करके की जाती है।

A team's points percentage is calculated by dividing their total points by the total possible points.

बेल्जियम को 76.19 के अंक प्रतिशत के साथ 2020-21 मेंस FIH प्रो लीग विजेता घोषित किया गया (उनके द्वारा खेले गए 14 मैचों में 42 में से 32 अंक हासिल किए)।

Belgium was declared the winner of the 2020-21 Men's FIH Pro League with a points percentage of 76.19 (having secured 32 out of a possible 42 points in the 14 matches they played).

The Dutch have dominated the five FIH Pro League editions held so far.

2020-21 सीजन में भारतीय मेंस हॉकी टीम ने अपनी FIH प्रो लीग की शुरुआत की थी। टीम 62.5 के अंक प्रतिशत के साथ चौथे स्थान पर रही थी, जबकि FIH प्रो लगी 2021-22 में भारतीय पुरुष टीम तीसरे स्थान पर रही।

The Indian men's hockey team made its FIH Pro League debut in the 2020-21 season. The team finished in fourth place with a points percentage of 62.5, while in the FIH Pro League 2021-22, the Indian men's team finished in third place.

The 2021-22 Men's FIH Hockey Pro League was the third edition of the tournament, which ran from October 16, 2021, to June 26, 2022. Belgium emerged as champions, with the Netherlands finishing second and India third. The tournament was played in a round-robin format among nine teams and was affected by the absence of Australia and New Zealand due to COVID-19. India delivered a strong performance to secure third place, and Harmanpreet Singh was awarded the FIH Player of the Year 2021-22.

The FIH Hockey Pro League Men's 2022-23 tournament, which ran from October 2022 to July 2023, was won by the Netherlands. This was the fourth edition of the tournament, featuring a total of nine teams. India finished in fourth place, with Harmanpreet Singh scoring the most goals for India (12), while Jip Janssen of the Netherlands was the top scorer overall (15 goals).

The FIH Hockey Pro League Men's 2023-24 was the fifth edition of the hockey tournament, which ran from December 2023 to June 2024. Australia won their first title, with the Netherlands finishing second and Great Britain third.  The tournament served as crucial preparation for the teams ahead of the Paris Olympics and also acted as a qualifier for the 2026 World Cup. India performed well, and Harmanpreet Singh was among the top scorers.
