First woman to reach Antarctica

First woman to reach Antarctica- The first woman to set foot on Antarctica was Caroline Millenson who achieved this feat in 1935. Later in 1983, Dr. Sudipta Sengupta and Dr. Aditi Pant became the first Indian women to reach Antarctica.

अंटाकार्टिका पर पहुंचने वाली प्रथम महिला- अंटार्कटिका पर कदम रखने वाली प्रथम महिला कैरोलीन मिलेलसन थी जिन्‍होंने 1935 में यह उपलब्धि हासिल की थी। बाद में 1983 में डा. सुदीप्‍त सेनागुप्‍ता और डा. आदिति पंत अंटाकार्टिका  में भाग लेने वाली पहली भारतीय महिलाएं बनी।
