चौथी पंचवर्षीय योजना के कार्यक्रम और जो उपलब्धियां प्राप्त हुई - Programmes of the Fourth Five Year Plan and the Achievements Made -
1. 1969 में एम.आर. टी.पी. एक्ट लाया गया। जिसके तहत पूंजी के केन्द्रीकरण को रोकना था।
In 1969, the M.R.T.P. Act was introduced, under which centralization of capital was to be stopped.
2. 14 बैंकों का राष्ट्रीकरण किया गया।
14 banks were nationalized.
3. पूंजी 50 करोड़ से ज्यादा की
Capital of more than 50 crores
4. 1970 में ऑपरेशन फ्लड अर्थात् श्वेत क्रांति इसी योजना के अंतर्गत हुई। जिसके प्रेरणा स्वरूप वर्गीज कुरियन थे।
Operation Flood i.e. White Revolution took place in 1970 under this scheme. Its inspiration was Verghese Kurien.
5. सबसे पहले बफर स्टाफ की अवधारणा पेश की गई। और 50 लाख टन खाद्यान्न के बफर स्टाफ की परिकल्पना की गई।
The concept of buffer stock was introduced for the first time. And a buffer stock of 50 lakh tonnes of food grains was envisaged.
6. सूखा संभावित क्षेत्र कार्यक्रम (डी.पी.ए.पी) शुरू किया गया।
Drought Prone Area Programme (DPAP) was launched.
7. इस योजना में हरित क्रांति को बढ़ावा दिया गया। जिससे प्रतिउत्पादन में वृद्धि हुई।
Green revolution was promoted in this plan. This led to increase in production.
इस योजना के प्रमुख लक्ष्य कृषि विकास, औद्योगिक विकास, आधारभूत संरचना का विकास सामाजिक न्याय क्षेत्रीय विकास आत्मनिर्भरता बनाये गये थे। The main objectives of this plan were agricultural development, industrial development, infrastructure development, social justice, regional development and self-reliance.
