1. इण्डोनेशिया के प्राचीन नाम डच ईस्ट इंडीज या नीदरलैंडस् ईस्ट इंडीज थे।
The ancient name of Indonesia was Dutch East Indies or Netherlands East Indies.
2. तुर्की- अनातोलिया, यह अनातोलिया प्रायद्वीप के लिए इस्तेमाल होता था जिस पर आज तुर्की स्थित है।
Turkey- Anatolia, this was used to refer to the Anatolia Peninsula on which Türkiye is located today.
3. इथियोपिया- अवीसीनिया यह नाम हवेशा का लैटिन कृत नाम है।
Ethiopia- Avisiniya This name is the Latinized form of Hawesha.
4. ईराक- मैसोपोटामिया इसका अर्थ है नदियों के बीच की भूमि।
Iran- Mesopotamia means the land between the rivers.
5. ईरान- ईरान का प्राचीन नाम फारस था 1935 में देश के शासक रेजाशाह पेल्लवी ने इसका नाम फारस से ईरान किया।

6. कंबोडिया- प्राचीन नाम कम्बुज या कम्बोज था इसके अन्य नाम भारत के संबंध के कारण कम्बुज देश वर्तमान में इसे कंपुचिया भी कहा जाता है
