यह जनजाति मुख्य रूप से मेघालय की जनजाति है यह एक स्वदेशी जनजाति है जो अपनी मातृसत्तात्मक समाज व्यवस्था के लिए पहचानी जाती है इनकी सम्पत्ति का उत्तराधिकार मां द्वारा अपनी सबसे छोटी बेटी को दिया जाता है।
This tribe is mainly from Meghalaya. It is an indigenous tribe which is known for its matriarchal social system. The inheritance of their property is given by the mother to her youngest daughter.
यह जनजाति ऑस्ट्रो, एशियाई, भाषा और प्रकृति के साथ अपने जुड़ाव के लिए जानी जाती है यह जनजाति अपने अनूठे जीवित जड़ पुलों, के लिए प्रसिद्ध है जो जीवित पेड़ों की जड़ों से बने होते है
This tribe is known for its Austro-Asian language and its connection with nature. This tribe is famous for its unique living root bridges, which are made from the roots of living trees.
यह जनजाति मेघालय की खासी और जयंतिया पहाडि़यों में निवास करती है इसके साथ ही यह असम और बांग्लादेश में भी पाई जाती है। This tribe resides in the Khasi and Jaintia hills of Meghalaya and is also found in Assam and Bangladesh.
इस जनजाति की प्रमुख भाषा खासी है , साद सुक म्यंसिएम इनका प्रमुख वार्षिक धनयवाद नृत्य है जो अप्रैल में आयोजित होता है ।
The main language of this tribe is Khasi, Saad Suk Myansiem is their main annual thanksgiving dance which is organized in April.
खासी जनजाति का रिडिया बुनायी एक पारंपरिक कला है और ऐरी सिल्क का उत्पादन इस जाति की महिलाओं द्वारा घर में किया जाता है।
