मलखम्ब भारत के प्राचीन खेलों में से एक है जो कम समय में शरीर के प्रत्येक अंग का व्यायाम सुनिश्चित करता है यह तीन प्रकार का होता हे- लटकन मलखंब, रस्सी मलखंब, रोप मलखंब। इसे 10 अप्रैल 2013 को राजकीय खेल घोषित किया गया है वर्तमान समय में सम्पूर्ण राज्य में 14 मलखम्ब केन्द्र संचालित है जो इंदौर, खरगौन, उज्जैन, बैतूल,, दतिया, पन्ना, रतलाम, शाजापुर, शिवपुरी, ग्वालियर, टीकमगढ़, जबलपुर , छतरपुर और सागर जिलों में स्थित है इस खेल के खिलाडि़यों को प्रभाष जोशी पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया जाता है।
Mallakhamb is one of India's ancient sports that ensures exercise for every part of the body in a short time. It is of three types: hanging Mallakhamb, pole Mallakhamb, and rope Mallakhamb. It was declared a state sport on April 10, 2013. Currently, 14 Mallakhamb centers are operating throughout the state, located in the districts of Indore, Khargone, Ujjain, Betul, Datia, Panna, Ratlam, Shajapur, Shivpuri, Gwalior, Tikamgarh, Jabalpur, Chhatarpur, and Sagar. Players of this sport are honored with the Prabhash Joshi Award.
प्रत्येक वर्ष 15 जून को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मलखम्ब दिवस मनाया जाता है वर्ष 2020 में भारत सरकार द्वारा प्रदत्त राजीव गांधी खेल रत्न पुरस्कार (वर्तमान में इस पुरस्कार का नाम मेजर ध्यानचंद खेल रत्न पुरस्कार को गया है) में मलखम्ब को शामिल किया गया है।
International Mallakhamb Day is celebrated every year on June 15th. In 2020, Mallakhamb was included in the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award (currently known as the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award) given by the Government of India.

क्रिकेट खेल का जन्मदाता इंग्लैण्ड को माना जाता है क्रिकेट का प्रथम टेस्ट मैच 15 से 19 मार्च , 1877 को इंग्लैण्ड और ऑस्ट्रेलिया के मध्य मेलबर्न में खेला गया था। इस खेल में प्रत्येक टीम में 11 खिलाड़ी होते है।
England is considered the birthplace of cricket. The first Test match was played between England and Australia in Melbourne from March 15 to 19, 1877. Each team in this sport consists of 11 players.
मध्यप्रदेश राज्य के इंदौर जिले में वर्ष 1890 में पारसी क्रिकेट क्लब की स्थापना के पश्चात् क्रिकेट खेल की परंपरा प्रारंभ हुई। प्रदेश में वर्ष 1913 में डेली शील्ड टूर्नामेंट नाम से राज्य की प्रथम क्रिकेट प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया था, जिसमें सेण्ट्रल इंडिया एजेंसी क्रिकेट क्लब ने जीत हासिल की थी। वर्ष 1924 में इन्दौर में यशवंत क्रिकेट क्लब की स्थापना की गयी थी।
The tradition of cricket in Madhya Pradesh began in 1890 with the establishment of the Parsi Cricket Club in Indore district. The state's first cricket tournament, the Daily Shield Tournament, was held in 1913, and was won by the Central India Agency Cricket Club. The Yashwant Cricket Club was founded in Indore in 1924.
वर्ष 1940-41 में सी.कू.नायडू की अध्यक्षता में महाराजा यशवंत राव होल्कर ने होल्कर क्रिकेट एसोसिएशन की स्थापना की, जिसे वर्ष 1956 में मध्यप्रदेश क्रिकेट एसोसिएशन के रूप में परिवर्तित कर दिया गया।
In 1940-41, Maharaja Yashwant Rao Holkar, under the chairmanship of C.K. Nayudu, established the Holkar Cricket Association, which was later transformed into the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association in 1956.

In 1954, the first Test cricket match in the state was played between Central India XI and MCC in Indore.
रणजी ट्रॉफी 2021-22 में मध्य प्रदेश में 41 बार की चैम्पियन मुम्बई को फाइनल मैच में 6 विकेट से पराजित कर पहली बार रणजी ट्रॉफी का खिताब जीता।
In the Ranji Trophy 2021-22, Madhya Pradesh defeated 41-time champions Mumbai by 6 wickets in the final match to win the Ranji Trophy title for the first time.
