भिलावा वृक्ष (सेमेकार्पस एनाकॉडियम)
Bhilava Tree (Semacarpus Anacodium)
मध्यप्रदेश के छिंदवाड़ा जिले में सर्वाधिक भिलावा वृक्ष पाये जाते है ये वृक्ष बहुउपयोगी है जिनका उपयोग स्याही पेन्ट और औषधि निर्माण में किया जाता है।
The highest number of Bhilawa trees are found in Chhindwara district of Madhya Pradesh. These trees are highly useful and are used in the manufacture of ink, paint, and medicines.
साल (शोरिया रोबस्टा)
Sal (Shorea robusta)
मध्यप्रदेश में देश के सर्वाधिक साल वृक्ष (लगभग 50 प्रतिशत) पाये जाते है ये प्रदेश में अधिकांश: लाल-पीली मृदा क्षेत्र मण्डला, डिंडोरी एवं होशंगाबाद जिलों में पाये जाते है साल के वृक्ष बोरर नामक कीट लगने से नष्ट हो जाते है।
Madhya Pradesh has the highest number of Sal trees in the country (approximately 50%). These trees are mostly found in the red and yellow soil regions of Mandla, Dindori, and Hoshangabad districts of the state. Sal trees are susceptible to damage from an insect called the Sal borer.

प्रदेश में सर्वाधिक सागौन वृक्ष काली मृदा वाले उत्तरी क्षेत्र होशंगाबाद जिले की बोरी घाटी में 3.20 मीटर परिधि में पाये जाते है इनका उपयोग इमारती लकड़ी के रूप में किया जाता है।
In the state, the largest teak trees are found in the Bori Valley of Hoshangabad district in the northern region with black soil, reaching a circumference of 3.20 meters. They are used as timber.

प्रदेश में बांस दक्षिणी-पूर्वी भाग में शहडोल, अनूपुर, बालाघाट, बैतूल, खण्डवा व होशंगाबाद जिलों में पाये जाते है देश में मध्यप्रदेश का बांस उत्पादन में द्वितीय स्थान है यहां प्रतिवर्ष लगभग 50 लाख टन, बांस का उत्पादन होता है।
In the state, bamboo is found in the southeastern part, in the districts of Shahdol, Anuppur, Balaghat, Betul, Khandwa, and Hoshangabad. Madhya Pradesh ranks second in bamboo production in the country, producing approximately 5 million tons of bamboo annually.
वर्ष 2016-17 में भोपाल जिले के लहारपुर इकोलॉजिकल पार्क में बांस की सर्वाधिक 54 प्रजातियों का रोपण करने वाला मध्यप्रदेश देश का प्रथम राज्य बना। वर्ष 2017-18 में इंदौर जिले (के नौलखा) में प्रदेश का बांस उत्पादन बिक्री का प्रथम सरकारी शोरूम खोला गया।
In 2016-17, Madhya Pradesh became the first state in India to plant the highest number of bamboo species (54) at the Laharpur Ecological Park in Bhopal district. In 2017-18, the state's first government showroom for the sale of bamboo products was opened in Naulakha, Indore district.

देश में तेंदूपत्ता उत्पादन में मध्यप्रदेश का प्रथम स्थान है तथा मध्य प्रदेश में तेंदूपत्ता उत्पादन में सागर जिला प्रथम स्थान पर है प्रदेश में औसत वार्षिक तेंदूपत्ता उत्पादन लगभग 25 लाख मानक बोरा होता है जो देश के कुल वार्षिक उत्पादन का लगभग 25 प्रतिशत है तेंदूपत्ता का राष्ट्रीयकरण वर्ष 1964 में हुआ था।
Madhya Pradesh ranks first in tendu leaf production in the country, and within Madhya Pradesh, Sagar district holds the top position. The average annual tendu leaf production in the state is approximately 2.5 million standard bags, which accounts for about 25 percent of the country's total annual production. The nationalization of tendu leaves took place in 1964.

हर्रा प्रदेश के मुख्यत: छिंदवाड़ा, बालाघाट, मण्डला, शिवपुरी और शहडोल जिलों के वनों से प्राप्त होता है इसका उपयोग औषधि निर्माण और चर्म शोधन के रूप में किया जाता है।
Harra is mainly obtained from the forests of Chhindwara, Balaghat, Mandla, Shivpuri, and Shahdol districts of Madhya Pradesh. It is used in the manufacture of medicines and for tanning.
खैर (अकसिया कटेचू)

मध्यप्रदेश में खैर वृक्ष शिवपुरी, मुरैना, जबलपुर, उमरिया, सागर, दमोह तथा गुना आदि जिलों में पाये जाते है खैर का उपयोग कत्था बनाने में किया जाता है जिसके कारखाने शिवपुरी और मुरैना (बानमोर) में स्थित है।
In Madhya Pradesh, the Khair tree is found in districts such as Shivpuri, Morena, Jabalpur, Umaria, Sagar, Damoh, and Guna. Khair wood is used to make catechu, and the factories for its production are located in Shivpuri and Morena (Banmore).

लाख एक प्रकार का प्राकृतिक राल है जो मादा लाख कीट (लेसीफेरा लेक्का) के साव से निर्मित होता है प्रदेश में शहडोल, मण्डल, डिंडोरी, दमोह, सागर जिलों में पलाश, बेरी, कुसुम, अरहर आदि के वृक्षों पर इसकी खेती की जाती है लाख के उत्पादन में मध्यप्रदेश का देश में दूसरा स्थान है लाख का सरकारी कारखाना उमरिया जिले में स्थित है।
Lac is a type of natural resin produced from the secretions of the female lac insect (Laccifera lacca). In the state, it is cultivated on trees such as Palash, Ber, Kusum, and Arhar in the districts of Shahdol, Mandla, Dindori, Damoh, and Sagar. Madhya Pradesh ranks second in the country in lac production. The government-owned lac factory is located in Umaria district.
महुआ (मधुका लोंगीफीलिया)

मध्यप्रदेश में झाबुआ, अलीराजपुर, शहडोल, अनूपपुर, डिंडोरी, मण्डला आदि जिलों में महुआ का उत्पादन होता है इसका उपयोग औषधि बनाने, तेल निकालने तथा एल्कोहल बनाने में किया जाता है।
In Madhya Pradesh, mahua is produced in districts such as Jhabua, Alirajpur, Shahdol, Anuppur, Dindori, and Mandla. It is used in the production of medicines, oil extraction, and alcohol manufacturing.

लघु वनोपज संघ द्वारा वर्ष 1991 में भारतीय जीवन बीमा निगम के सहयोग से इस योजना को प्रारम्भ किया गया। इस योजना का उद्देशय, तेन्दूपत्ता संग्राहकों की आकस्मिक मृत्यु अथवा दिव्यांगता की दशा में सहायता एवं बीमा राशि प्रदान करना है।
This scheme was launched in 1991 by the Minor Forest Produce Federation in collaboration with the Life Insurance Corporation of India. The objective of this scheme is to provide assistance and insurance coverage to tendu leaf collectors in case of accidental death or disability.

यह योजना तेंदूपत्ता संग्राहकों के लिए 19 अप्रैल, 2018 को सिंगरौली जिले से प्रारंभ की गई थी इस योजना के अन्तर्गत तेंदूपत्ता संग्राहकों को जूते एवं चप्पल उपलब्ध करवाए जा रहे है।
This scheme was launched on April 19, 2018, from Singrauli district for tendu leaf collectors. Under this scheme, shoes and slippers are being provided to the tendu leaf collectors.
दीन दयाल वनांचल सेवा
Deen Dayal Vananchal Service
इस योजना का प्रारम्भ 20 अक्टूबर 2016 को किया गया जिसका उद्देशय सुदूर वनांचलों में विभिन्न विभागों के कार्यक्रमों व योजनाओं का लाभ वनवासियों तक पहुंचाना है।
This scheme was launched on October 20, 2016, with the objective of extending the benefits of various departmental programs and schemes to forest dwellers in remote forest areas.

Shaheed Amrita Devi Bishnoi Award:
यह पुरस्कार मध्यप्रदेश शासन द्वारा वर्ष 2008-09 से प्रतिवर्ष वन रक्षा एवं वन संवर्द्धन के क्षेत्र में उत्कृष्ट कार्य करने वाली संस्थाओं एवं व्यक्तियों को प्रदान किया जाता है।
This award is given annually by the Government of Madhya Pradesh since 2008-09 to institutions and individuals who have done outstanding work in the field of forest protection and forest conservation.
यह पुरूस्कार पांच वर्गो में प्रदान किया जा रहा है इसमें उत्कृष्ट संस्था को एक लाख रूपये एवं उत्कृष्ट कार्य करने वाले व्यक्ति को 50-50 हजार रूपये तथा वन्य प्राणियों की रक्षा में अदम्य साहस एवं सूझबूझ को प्रदर्शन करने वाले व्यक्तियों को 50-50 हजार रूपये की नकद राशि एवं प्रशस्ति पत्र प्रदान किये जाते है।
This award is being given in five categories. The outstanding institution receives one lakh rupees, and individuals who have performed outstanding work receive 50,000 rupees each. Individuals who have demonstrated exceptional courage and resourcefulness in protecting wildlife also receive a cash prize of 50,000 rupees each and a certificate of appreciation.

प्रदेश में वर्श 2010 से वन एवं वन्यप्राणी संरक्षण हेतु बसामन मामा स्मृति प्राणी संरक्षण पुरूस्कार दो श्रेणियों में प्रदान किया जाता है जो निम्नलिखित है-

वन्यप्राणी पुरस्कार

वन्यप्राणी संरक्षण में उत्कृष्ट योगदान के लिये कर्मचारियों एवं अधिकारियों को प्रोत्साहित करने हेतु राज्य शासन द्वारा वर्ष 2008 में वन्यप्राणी संरक्षण पुरस्कार संस्थापित किया गया है इस पुरस्कार के अन्तर्गत उप वनसंरक्षक, सहायक, वन संरक्षक स्तर के लिये एक, वनक्षेत्रपाल स्तर के लिये एक तथा उप-वनक्षेत्रपाल वनपाल /वनरक्षक स्तर के लिये चार पुरस्कारों का प्रावधान किया गया है प्रत्येक पुरस्कार को राशि 50 हजार रूपये है।
To encourage employees and officers for their outstanding contribution to wildlife conservation, the State Government instituted the Wildlife Conservation Award in 2008. This award includes one award each for the Deputy Conservator of Forests and Assistant Conservator of Forests levels, one for the Forest Ranger level, and four awards for the Deputy Forest Ranger/Forest Guard level. Each award carries a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.
