National Waterway 4

National Waterway 4- This waterway is connected from Kakinada to Puducherry through canals and the Krishna River to the Godavari River. NW4 is the second longest waterway in India with a length of 1095 km in Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. This waterway connects Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. National Waterway 4 (NW-4) mainly carries import and export of coal, rice, forest products, and raw materials for paper mills.

राष्‍ट्रीय जलमार्ग 4- यह जलमार्ग काकीनाडा से पुंडुचेरी तक नहरों और कृष्‍णा नदी के साथ गोदावरी नदी तक जुड़ा हुआ है। NW4 आंध्रप्रदेश और तमिलनाडु में 1095 किलोमीटर की लंबाई के साथ भारत का दूसरा सबसे लंबा जलमार्ग है यह जलमार्ग आंध्रप्रदेश तमिलनाडु और पुडुचेरी को जोड़ता है। राष्ट्रीय जलमार्ग 4 (NW-4) पर मुख्य रूप से कोयला, चावल, वन उत्पाद, और कागज मिलों के लिए कच्चे माल का आयात-निर्यात होता है।
