Padma Awards - one of the highest civilian Awards of the country, are conferred in three categories, namely, Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri. The list comprises 5 Padma Vibhushan, 17 Padma Bhushan and 110 Padma Shri Awards.The Padma Vibhushan is India’s second highest award.it has been given to 5 eminent personalities this year. These include former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, Bharatnatyam dancer Padma Subrahmanyam, actor Chiranjeevi, social reformer Bindeshwar Pathak (posthumous) and dancer Vyjayantimala Bali.
