Important works of Lord Dalhousie-

Lord Dalhousie has done two types of works in India, in which some of his works can be seen as social reforms. And some of his works are considered as bad works (infamous).

Dalhousie's good works include social reforms, business reforms, irrigation system, military reforms, public construction, educational reforms, establishment of railways and post offices. Some of his works are known as infamous works, they are- merger of Punjab in 1849 and sending Maharaja Dilip Singh to England by giving him pension.
