यह पुरस्कार हॉकी के प्रसिद्ध खिलाड़ी कैप्टन रूपसिंह की स्मृति में ऐसे खिलाडि़यों को प्रदान किया जाता है जिन्होंने जीवन पर्यन्त खेल क्षेत्र में सेवा की हो।
This award is given in memory of the famous hockey player Captain Roop Singh to players who have dedicated their lives to serving the sport.
यह पुरस्कार वर्ष 2014 में प्रारंभ किया गया वर्तमान में 2 लाख रूपये की इसमें धनराशि प्रदान की जाती है।
This award was established in 2014 and currently carries a cash prize of Rs. 2 lakh.
