राजकीय खेल मलखम्ब के खिलाडि़यों को प्रोत्साहित करने के उद्देशय से राज्य सरकार द्वारा 19 अप्रैल 2013 को घोषित किया गया। 28 अगस्त, 2013 को प्रथम प्रभाष जोशी पुरस्कार अजय वक्तारिया को प्रदान किया गया। इसके अन्तर्गत वर्तमान में 2 लाख रूपये की धनराशि प्रदान की जाती है।
This award was announced by the state government on April 19, 2013, with the aim of encouraging players of the state sport, Mallakhamb. The first Prabhash Joshi Award was presented to Ajay Vaktaria on August 28, 2013. Currently, the award carries a cash prize of ₹2 lakh.
वर्ष 2021 का प्रभाष जोशी पुरस्कार-मुजाहिद वेग (उज्जैन) को प्रदान किया गया।
The Prabhash Joshi Award for the year 2021 was presented to Mujahid Beg (Ujjain).
