Article 66 - Qualifications for the office of Vice-President -

To become the Vice President, the person should have the following 4 qualifications -

He should be a citizen of India.

He should have completed 35 years of age.

He should be eligible to be elected as a member of Rajya Sabha.

He should not hold any office of profit under the Central Government or State Government or any other (the posts of President, Vice President, Governor, Minister of the Center and States will not be considered as posts of profit)
