National Agriculture Market (e-NAM)

The National Agriculture Market (e-NAM) is a pan-India online trading platform launched on April 14, 2016, by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare. It aims to integrate the existing APMC mandis into a unified national digital market for agricultural commodities. The platform is implemented by the Small Farmers Agribusiness Consortium (SFAC) and fully funded by the Central Government.

To promote nationwide trade in agricultural produce through a digital platform.

To ensure transparent price discovery based on real-time demand and quality.

To give farmers access to more markets and buyers, ensuring better returns

To set up assaying infrastructure for quality-based bidding.

To streamline marketing processes and reduce market inefficiencies.

NAM provides farmers with greater visibility and a broader market for their produce. With quality-based online trading, it reduces the dependency on middlemen and enhances income opportunities for producers.
