कैश मैमोरी एक तेज गति से काम करने वाली मैमोरी है जिसका इस्तेमाल सीपीयू की स्पीड तथा पर फॉरमेंस की बढ़ाने के लिए किया जाता है। Cache memory is a high-speed memory used to increase the speed and performance of the CPU.
कैश मेमोरी एक हाई-स्पीड मेमोरी है जिसका आकार तो छोटा होता है लेकिन प्राइमरी मेमोरी से तेज होती है।
Cache memory is a high-speed memory which is smaller in size but faster than primary memory.
इस मेमोरी को एक्सेस करने आसान है और सीपीयू इसे तेज गति से एक्सेस करता है इस मेमोरी को अन्य डिवाइस के द्वारा एक्सेस नहीं किया जा सकता है बल्कि इसे केवल सीपीयू के द्वारा ही एक्सेस किया जा सकता है।
This memory is easy to access and the CPU accesses it at a fast speed. This memory cannot be accessed by other devices but can be accessed only by the CPU.
कैश मैमोरी में उस डेटा या फाइलों को स्टोर किया जाता है जिनका इस्तेमाल सीपीयू नियमित रूप से करता है जब भी सीपीयू को कोई डेटा चाहिए होता है तो सीपीयू सबसे पहले उस डेटा को कैश मैमोरी में ढूंढता है।
The data or files that are used regularly by the CPU are stored in the cache memory. Whenever the CPU needs any data, the CPU first searches for that data in the cache memory.
कैश मेमोरी के प्रकार- इसके तीन प्रकार होते है-
कैश 1
कैश 2
कैश 3
कैश 1 - यह एक छोटी मैमोरी होती है जिसका आकार 2कीबी से 64 कीबी तक होता है कैश 1 में दो प्रकार के कैश होते है। पहला निर्देश कैश जो सीपीयू द्वारा आवश्सक निर्देशों को स्टोर करते है और दूसरा डेटा कैश जो सीपीयू द्वारा आवश्यक डेटा को स्टोर करते है।
Cache 1 - This is a small memory whose size ranges from 2KB to 64KB. Cache 1 has two types of caches. The first is the instruction cache which stores the instructions required by the CPU and the second is the data cache which stores the data required by the CPU.
कैश 2 - कैश 2 का साइज कैश 1 से थोड़ा बढ़ा होता है और इसकी स्पीड कैश 1 से थोड़ी कम होती है इसका आकार 256कीबी से 512 कीबी के बीच होता है।
Cache 2 - The size of Cache 2 is slightly larger than Cache 1 and its speed is slightly lower than Cache 1. Its size is between 256 KB to 512 KB.
कैश 3 - यह साइज में कैश 1 और कैश 2 से थोड़ी बढ़ी होती है इसकी स्पीड कैश 1 और कैश 2 मैमोरी से थोड़ी कम होती है इसका आकार 1 एमबी से 8 एमबी तक होता है।
Cache 3 – It is slightly bigger in size than Cache 1 and Cache 2, its speed is slightly less than Cache 1 and Cache 2 memory, its size ranges from 1 MB to 8 MB.
