Consolidated Fund:

संचित निधि:- अनुच्‍छेद 266 (1) के अनुसार भारत की संचित निधि में भारत सरकार की सभी प्राप्तियां जमा होती है जैसे- ऋणों की वसूली से प्राप्‍त मुद्रा, सरकार के ट्रेजरी बिल Ways & means के माध्‍यम से उगाया गया ऋण आदि।

Consolidated Fund:- According to Article 266 (1), the Consolidated Fund of India consists of all receipts of the Government of India such as money received from the recovery of loans, loans raised through treasury bills, ways and means of the Government, etc.

बिना संसद की अनुमति के इस निधि से कोई भी रकम नहीं निकाली जा सकती। अर्थात् संचित निधि से धन निकालने के लिए सरकार को संसद में विनियोग विधेयक पारित कराना होता है बिना इस विधेयक के पारित किये भारत की संचित निधि से धन नहीं निकाला जा सकता।

No amount can be withdrawn from this fund without Parliament's permission. That is, to withdraw money from the Consolidated Fund, the government must pass an Appropriation Bill in Parliament. Without the passage of this bill, money cannot be withdrawn from the Consolidated Fund of India.
