The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Startup Forum organized in New Delhi

·      For the first time physically in India, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Startup Forum organized in New Delhi. Its objective is to promote startups, job creation, innovation etc. among SCO countries.

·      Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar inaugurated the first of its kind 'Millets Experience Centre' in New Delhi. The objective is to create awareness among the general public for millets production.

·      For the first time, the Indian Army has inducted five women officers into the Artillery Unit.

·      To boost trade between India and Bangladesh, Union Minister Nityanand Rai inaugurated the Dawki Land Port' in Meghalaya's Jaintia Hills.

·      Defense Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated India's first 'Air Force Heritage Centre' in Chandigarh. The role of the Air Force in various wars is depicted in this heritage centre.

·      Union Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways Sarba-nanda Sonowal launched "Harit Sagar' to achieve the goal of zero carbon emission. Its objective is to promote the ecosystem in the development and operation of ports.

·      Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has launched Learning Management Information System 'Saksham'. Its objective is to provide medical training to all health professionals in India.

·      Telangana government has launched a new policy called State Robotics Framework, It aims to establish the state as a leader in the field of robotics in India.

·      Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao laid the foundation stone of 'Hare Krishna Heritage Tower' in Hyderabad. It will have temples of Radha Krishna and Swami Venkateswara.

·      India's first reading lounge has been set up at Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport (Varanasi) under the Union Ministry of Education. There is a collection of books in different languages. Its objective is to develop the habit of reading books among people.

·      MIT-World Peace University has built Asia's first subsea research lab in Pune. It aims to provide training to personnel for the petroleum and gas industry.

·      Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 'International Museum Expo 2023' at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. Under this, the cultural and historical heritage of different periods will be protected.

·      Tamil Nadu CM inaugurates one of the country's longest skywalk bridge at T Nagar. This bridge is 570 meters long which connects Mambalam Railway Station to T Nagar Bus Terminal.

·      Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh has become the first city in India to adopt the localization of Sustainable Development Goals. A voluntary local review process has been implemented in Bhopal to check progress on the SDGs.

·      Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Bhupendra Yadav inaugurated the Center of Excellence for Sustainable Land Management at the Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education, Dehradun.

·      The Indian Institute of Technology Madras has entered into a partnership with Israel to set up the 'India-Israel Center for Water Technology'. It aims to address the challenges in water resource management in India.

·      'NEP Sarathi' program - UGC has launched this program to involve students in better implementation of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Under this, students will be selected as ambassadors in the field of education.

·      Recently, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has announced the preparation of a 'Green Hydrogen Policy' to promote the production of green hydrogen in the state.

·      Uttar Pradesh government has announced to build a theme park 'Ramland" which will be like Disneyland. It will be major attraction among tourists and also a global tourism hotspot.

·      Uttar Pradesh has become the first state in India to make digital health cards for children under the School Health Programme. Under this, the health reports of the children can be downloaded online.

·      The Tungnath Temple of Lord Shiva located in Uttarakhand will be declared a monument of national importance. This temple is situated at an altitude of 12800 feet.
