Major oil refineries of India- There are many major oil refineries in India, which play an important role in meeting the oil needs of the country- some of the major ones are as follows-
भारत के प्रमुख तेलु शोधक कारखाने- भारत में कई प्रमुख तेल शोधक कारखाने (रिफाइनरी) है, जो देश की तेल जरूरतों को पूरा करने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते है- कुछ प्रमुख निम्न है-
1. Haldia Oil Refinery - A major oil refinery operated by Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) located in Haldia city of West Bengal. Its annual refining capacity is 8 million tonnes. It has been operational since 1975. This refinery produces various fuel products like LPG, naphtha, petrol, mineral turpentine oil, high speed diesel, and jet fuel.
हल्दिया तेल शोधनागार- भारतीय तेल निगम (IOCL) द्वारा संचालित एक प्रमुख तेल शोधनशाला है जो पश्चिम-बंगाल के हल्दिया शहर में स्थित है इसकी वार्षिक शोधन क्षमता 8 मिलियन -टन है यह 1975 से चालू है यह शोधन शाला विभिन्न ईधन उत्पादों जैसे एल.पी.जी. नैप्था, पेट्रोल, खनिज तारपीन तेल, उच्च गति डीजल, और जेट ईधन का उत्पादन करती है।
2. Mathura Oil Refinery- Mathura Refinery is a unit of Indian Oil Corporation located in Uttar Pradesh. It was established in 1982 with an initial capacity of 6.0 MMTPA. Since then, its capacity has been increased to 80 MMTP with the addition of units like Wash Through Hydrocracker-Unit (OHCU) and Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit (FFCU) reconstruction. It was renovated in 2014 to increase the capacity.
मथुरा तेल शोधनागार- मथुरा रिफाइनरी इंडियन ऑयल कार्पोरेशन की एक इकाई उत्तरप्रदेश में स्थित है इसकी स्थापना 1982 में 6.0 MMTPA की प्रारम्भिक क्षमता के साथ हुई थी तब से वन्स थ्रू हाइड्रोक्रैकर- यूनिट (OHCU) और फ्लूइड कैटेविटक क्रैकिंग यूनिट (FFCU) के पुननिर्माण जैसी इकाइयों के जुड़ने के साथ इसकी क्षमता 80 MMTP तक हो गई है। क्षमता बढ़ाने के लिए 2014 में इसक नवीनीकरण किया गया।
3. Panipat Oil Refinery - Panipat Refinery and Petrochemical Complex operated by Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) - is a major integrated oil and petrochemical hub in Panipat, Haryana. Established in 1998, the capacity initially with 6 MMTPA has been expanded to 15 MMTPA.
पानीपत तेल शोधनागार- इंडियन ऑयल कॉर्पोरेशन (IOCL) द्वारा संचालित पानीपत रिफाइनरी और पेट्रोकैमिकल काम्पलेक्स- हरियाणा के पानीपत में एक प्रमुख एकीकृत तेल और पेट्रोकैलिकल केन्द्र है 1998 में स्थापित, प्रारम्भ में 6 MMTPA की क्षमता को बढ़ाकर - 15 MMTPA कर दिया गया है।
4. Digbai Oil Refinery - Asia's first oil refinery is located in Digboi town of Assam. It was established in 1901 and is still operational which makes it the oldest refinery. It was established by Assam Oil Company Limited. It is considered the Gangotri of Indian hydrocarbon sector and is called the birthplace of oil industry in India. Its capacity was increased to 0.65 MMTPA (million metric tonnes per annum). Digboi Oil Refinery is not only an industrial site but also a cultural site.
डिगबाई तेल शोधनागार- एशिया की पहली तेल शोधक है जो असम के डिगबोई शहर में स्थित है इसे 1901 में स्थापित किया गया था और यह अभी भी चालू है जो इसे सबसे पुरानी रिफाइनरी बनाता है इसे असम ऑयल कम्पनी लिमिटेड द्वारा स्थापित किया गया था। इसे भारतीय हाइड्रोकार्बन क्षेत्र की गंगोत्री माना जाता है और भारत में इसे तेल उद्योग का जन्मस्थान कहा जाता है इसकी क्षमता 0.65 MMTPA (मिलियन मीट्रिक टन प्रतिवर्ष ) तक बढ़ गई थी डिगबोई तेल शोधक न केवल एक औद्योगिक स्थल है, बल्कि एक सांस्कृतिक स्थल भी है।
5. Paradip Oil Refinery- Paradip Oil Refinery is an oil refinery located in Paradip, Odisha by Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL). It was commissioned in 2016 with a capacity of 15 million tonnes per annum (MTPA).
पाराद्वीप तेल शोधनागार- पाराद्वीप तेल शोधनागार भारतीय तेल निगम(IOCL) द्वारा ओडि़सा के पाराद्वीप में स्थित एक तेल रिफाइनरी है यह 15 मिलियन टन प्रति वर्ष (MTPA) की क्षमता के साथ 2016 में चालू की गई थी।
Mumbai Oil Refinery - Mumbai High Field, formerly known as Bombay High is India's largest offshore oil and gas field located in the Arabian Sea, about 160m west of Mumbai. It is operated by Oil and Natural Gas Corporation of India (ONGC). The field was discovered in 1974 and production began in 1976. It has two blocks, Mumbai High North and Mumbai High South. It is located in Maharashtra.
मुम्बई तेल शोधनागार - मुम्बई हाई फील्ड, जिसे पहले बॉम्बे हाई के नाम से जाना जाता था भारत का सबसे बड़ा अपतटीय तेल और गैस क्षेत्र है जो अरब सागरमें, मुम्बई से लगभग 160 12M पश्चिम में स्थित है इसका संचालन भारत की तेल एवं प्राकृतिक गैस निगम (ONGC) द्वारा किया जाता है इस क्षेत्र की खोज 1974 में हुई थी। और 1976 में उत्पादन शुरू हुआ इसमें दो ब्लॉक है मुंबई हाई नॉर्थ एवं मुम्बई साउथ यह महाराष्ट्र में स्थित है।
Visakhapatnam Oil Refinery- Visakhapatnam is India's major oil refinery operated by Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL). It was established in 1957 by Caltech Oil Refining (India). Later it was taken over by the Government of India and merged with HPCL. It started operating in 1957 with a capacity of 0.675 million tonnes per annum, which has increased to 8.3 million tonnes per annum. Visakhapatnam Refinery is located in Andhra Pradesh on the east coast of India.
