STEP 4:   upload scanned copies of photo, signature, identity proof and other document as per the required format and size mentioned in the instruction

Examination: Step-by-Step Exam Pattern

Step 1: Preliminary Examination

Paper I: General Studies I

·      Objective-type questions

·      Covers topics such as History, Indian National Movement, Polity, Geography, Economy, Environment, Current Affairs

·      Each question carries equal marks

·      Negative marking: 0.33 marks deducted for each incorrect answer

Paper II: General Studies II (CSAT)

·      Objective-type questions

·      Comprehension, Interpersonal Skills, Logical Reasoning, Analytical Ability, Decision Making, Problem Solving, General Mental Ability, Basic Numeracy, English Language Comprehension Skills

·      Negative marking: 0.33 marks deducted for each incorrect answer

Step 2: Main Examination

·      Compulsory Subjects

·      General Hindi: Qualifying paper with descriptive questions.

·      Essay Writing: Candidates must write two essays from a given list of topics.

·      General Studies I: Covers History, Culture, Geography, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, Environment, Technology, Current Affairs of National and International Importance.
