साल 2023 में शुरू होने के बाद से दुनिया की एक बेहतरीन फ्रेंचाईजी आधारित टी20 क्रिकेट लीग के रूप में स्थापित हुई भारतीय क्रिकेट कंट्रोल बोर्ड बीसीसीआई द्वारा आयोजित महिला टी20 लीग पुरूषों की इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग आईपीएल के सफल मॉडल पर आधारित ।
The Women's T20 League, organised by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), has established itself as one of the best franchise-based T20 cricket leagues in the world since its launch in 2023. It is based on the successful model of the men's Indian Premier League (IPL).
WPL में कुल 5 टीमें हिस्सा लेती है दिल्ली कैपिटल , गुजरात जाइंटस्, मुंबई इंडियन्स, रॉयल चैलंजर्स बैंगलोर, और यूपी बॉरियर्स ।
A total of 5 teams participate in WPL: Delhi Capitals, Gujarat Giants, Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and UP Borderers.
प्रत्येक टीम में 18 खिलाड़ी हो सकते है जिनमें 6 विदेशी खिलाड़ी शामिल है।
Each team can have 18 players including 6 foreign players.

2024- रॉयल चैलंजर्स बैंगलोर ने दिल्ली कैपिटल को हराकर यह खिताब जीता ।
2024- Royal Challengers Bangalore won the title by defeating Delhi Capitals.
2025- मुंबई इंडियन्स ने दिल्ली कैपिटल को हराकर यह खिताब जीता फाइनल बैबोर्न स्टेडियम मुंबई में खेला गया। 2025 के सीजन में प्लेयर ऑफ द टूर्नामेंट नेट - साइबर - ब्रंट को चुना गया ।
2025 - Mumbai Indians won the title by defeating Delhi Capitals in the final played at the Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai. Nat Siber-Brunt was named Player of the Tournament for the 2025 season.
2025 के सीजन में पर्पल केप अमेलिया केर ने जीती उन्होंने पूरे सीजन में 18 विकेट लिए WPL 2025 के सीजन की ऑरेंज केप मुंबई इंडियन्स की नेट साइबर ब्रंट ने जीती। उन्होंने टूर्नामेंट में 523 रन बनाए।
The Purple Cap for the 2025 season was won by Amelia Kerr, who took 18 wickets throughout the season. The Orange Cap for the 2025 WPL season was won by Natalie Brunt of Mumbai Indians, who scored 523 runs in the tournament.
